Jinhae is located at the southern tip of Korean Peninsula. It is close to Changwon that is the capital of Gyeongsangnam-do and the center of machine industry in Korea, and to Busan that is the second largest city in Korea. There's 26 small and large islands (including 4 inhabited islands) in Jinhae Bay. The water has high temperature (10-20) and high salt degree (34.2-34.7%)due to the effect of Tsushima Current.
