Ttukbaegi Street ( Earthen Bowl Street) - Seomyeon Busan

If you depart from the back door of the Seomyeon Lotte Department Store and continue walking along the alley to your right, you will find it crowded with places serving hot boiling cheonggukjang (soup made of fermented soybeans) and doenjang jjigae (soup made with soybean paste) in a ttukbaegi(earthen bowl). They are the best restaurants to enjoy the true taste of the Korean traditional foods cheonggukjang and doenjang jjigae. This places ferment the soybeans themselves in order to create the deep, rich taste of cheonggukjang. Although it might be uncomfortable to eat while standing, the hot taste of cheonggukjang and doenjang jjigae will make you forget your discomfort.

doengjang ttukbaegi is 4,500 won.
cheonggukjang is 5,000 won
